- ➤ Cocoa football’s CJ Hester signed with Florida and joined the Gators, aiming to boost his new team's performance. Eau Gallie lost to Bishop Moore 31-28 in the regional final, with coach Chris Sands discussing the close game. Florida Today
- ➤ On Friday night, Cocoa traveled to Sarasota to face Cardinal Mooney in the Class 2A state semifinal football game (Cardinal Mooney jumped ahead with a 3-point lead in the first quarter). The winner will move on to the state championship game on Wednesday, Dec. 10. Florida Today
