The National Hurricane Center is tracking Invest 98L—a tropical wave moving at 20 to 25 mph in the eastern Caribbean that will likely become a tropical depression by mid-week.
If it strengthens to tropical storm level, it may bring impacts to Florida later this week as its path remains uncertain.
NASA said the Orionid meteor shower will peak on Oct.
21 under a new moon—allowing Palm Bay residents to see roughly 20 meteors an hour. People will watch from just before midnight until about 2 a.m., facing southeast to view the shooting stars.
