- ➤ VFW Post 10131 and American Legion Post 359 are hosting Cape Canaveral’s second annual Veterans Day Parade and Community BBQ on November 8; the parade kicks off at 11:11 a.m. at Cape View Elementary (proceeding along Orange Avenue to Veterans Memorial Park) and is followed by a free BBQ at Xeriscape Park (veterans and parade participants eat free) starting at noon. - ➤ Florida Tech and the Southern Smoke Foundation have partnered to offer free telehealth therapy to food service workers through the Behind You initiative—eligible workers must be employed for over six months and work at least 30 hours weekly to receive up to 20 free counseling sessions aimed at preventing stress and other mental health issues in the industry. - ➤ The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team won its Region 8 Conference game Tuesday night by scoring twice early to beat Miami Dade College 2-1. The Titans will finish the conference season on Saturday at 7 p.m. against Daytona State College. Space Coast Daily
