- ➤ SpaceX plans to launch a Falcon 9 carrying 24 Project Kuiper satellites into low-Earth orbit from Cape Canaveral today at 8:08 p.m. ET—weather permitting, the rocket may be visible along the Space Coast. Florida Today
- ➤ Chicken Salad Chick is opening its second location in Viera on Tuesday, October 21 at 1995 Viera Blvd with seating available from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. The first 100 guests will get free chicken salad for a year—one guest will receive a free container each week while the other 99 will get one per month. - ➤ High school volleyball district tournaments in Brevard County begin today with quarterfinal matches starting at 6 p.m.—the schedule continues with semifinals on October 14 and 15 and championship games on October 16, featuring top-seeded teams like Brevard HEAT, Holy Trinity, Lake Highland Prep, Merritt Island, and Melbourne.
