  • Hundreds of families affected by Alzheimer’s gathered Saturday at Cocoa Riverfront Park for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Space Coast — participants raised over $135,000 for care, research, and advocacy. The event highlighted local efforts to support those impacted by the disease.  Hometown News

  • The Palm Bay 28th Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade presented by UTB United Third Bridge Inc. took place and was followed by a multicultural festival. Residents enjoyed music and dance while the event celebrated Puerto Rican heritage + brought together community members to share local traditions.  Florida Today
  • Chaplain Zack Parker, a Merritt Island native and US Navy officer, delivered an October message that urged faith, hope, and patriotism—sharing how community support helped him through personal loss and challenging times.
