  • Tropical Storm Imelda is moving north along Florida’s coast today with winds of 45 mph and is expected to strengthen into a hurricane—bringing heavy downpours, dangerous surf, and rip currents along the beaches. Areas in Northeast Florida may see up to 4 inches of rain and nearshore seas up to 13 feet through Tuesday.  Florida Today
