  • United Launch Alliance will launch its Atlas V 551 rocket carrying Amazon’s Kuiper satellites from Cape Canaveral on September 25—pending range approval. The launch will add more satellites to low Earth orbit and further the companies’ commercial space efforts.  Space Coast Daily
  • Trader Joe's is set to open soon in Brevard County at The Avenue Viera location (2221 Town Center Ave.) where Michael's craft store once operated; officials say the store will open around March and offer its well-known products and service. The new location marks a notable expansion as shoppers in the area prepare for a fresh grocery option.  Florida Today

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Florida will hold its last special sales-tax holiday of 2025 when hunting, fishing and camping supplies will be tax exempt from Monday, Sept. 8 through Wednesday, Dec. 31—shoppers will save on items like ammunition, tackle and camping gear. The tax break will not cover rentals or repairs and applies to online purchases made during the holiday period.  Florida Today
