  • Nathaniel Wadleigh was arrested for shooting his gun while driving under the influence near Be Back's Lounge on Aurora Road yesterday afternoon (breath samples were 0.172 and 0.174) and is now held without bond.  Space Coast Daily
  • Brevard County Sheriff’s Office named 35-year-old Rico Navarro Fugitive of the Week after he was charged with violation of probation for possession with intent to sell fentanyl and possession of cocaine—authorities said he is wanted in Palm Bay with a $15,000 bond and urge anyone with information to call the Fugitive Unit at 321-633-1227.  Space Coast Daily
  • Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey said that 22-year-old Jeremyah Campbell from Texas was arrested last night on a no bond warrant for two counts of second degree murder, one count of attempted second degree murder, and shooting into an occupied residence after fatally shooting his grandparents on Washington Street — Milwaukee Ave in West Melbourne, where a 25-year-old neighbor was also shot and is expected to recover.  Hometown News

  • Kevin Brinkley will begin as the new City of Palm Bay Public Works Director on August 4—bringing over a decade of leadership experience in public works from New Smyrna Beach and Palm Coast.   • NASA and SpaceX will launch the Crew-11 mission no earlier than 12:09 p.m. ET Thursday, July 31 from the Kennedy Space Center near Cape Canaveral. The four astronauts—Zena Cardman, Mike Fincke, Kimiya Yui and Oleg Platonov—will dock at the International Space Station, paving the way for the Crew-10 team to return to Earth after a short handover.  Florida Today
  • Today, the Brevard County Supervisor of Elections office partnered with Supply Zone for Teachers to serve as drop-off locations for back-to-school donations collected during July. Brevard Schools Foundation will provide approximately 2,500 new backpacks filled with school supplies — a move to help disadvantaged public school students prepare for the school year — and support families in need.  Space Coast Daily
