- ➤ Brevard County Sheriff’s Office announced that K—9 Colt helped officers arrest 34-year-old Franklin Edwards from Cocoa on charges including DUI, reckless driving, leaving the scene of a crash, aggravated assault and fleeing police, with Edwards booked on a $22,000 bond. Space Coast Daily

- ➤ Sally Scalera, a master gardener with the University of Florida IFAS, said residents should use a rule that limits identical plants to five percent, similar plants to ten percent and related plants to fifteen percent to protect their yards from deadly diseases such as Ganoderma butt rot.
