  • A 3-year-old boy was hospitalized in Mims after an accidental shooting on July 7 when deputies responded to a 911 call at a home on the 4000 block of Aurantia Road—paramedics treated him at the scene before airlifting him to Arnold Palmer Hospital, and the child remains in stable condition amid a dozen gunshot injuries reported in Brevard County since March.  Florida Today

  • State Attorney Will Scheiner dropped all murder charges against Jeff Abramowski after 23 years in prison for the 2002 killing of his friend Cortney Crandall in Palm Shores — Abramowski said he is processing his freedom as he plans to address lingering medical issues and possibly seek state compensation.  Florida Today

  • Beginning this month, the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour will add a stop at The Gantry at LC-39— a new attraction where visitors can see close-up views of launch pads and enjoy interactive displays, including a full-scale rocket engine that simulates a test fire. The new stop is located at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, offering outdoor play areas and exhibits that explain NASA's mission to protect Earth.  Space Coast Daily
