Florida Today chose two Space Coast photos as the Photos of the Week; one shows a bald eagle freed on Merritt Island with help from the Florida Wildlife Hospital + Sanctuary, and the other shows a SpaceX rocket launching a weather satellite from Kennedy Space Center on July 1.
Both images capture American symbols just in time for Independence Day.
