  • Brevard Public Schools has teamed with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to offer free summer meals at Summer BreakSpot locations. Children and teens 18 and younger can get a free, nutritious breakfast or lunch with no registration required — meals served at schools, community centers, libraries, parks, and faith-based organizations — and all offerings meet USDA nutrition standards.  Space Coast Daily

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Utility and road construction work by CK Contractors and Development, LLC will begin Monday, June 30 at the Circle K near the intersection of Emerson Drive and St. Johns Parkway with work hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; officials say temporary lane closures, detours and flagging operations will affect traffic and residents should plan extra travel time — they urge caution for safe travel — as work continues until July 11.  Space Coast Daily
