Space Coast Honor Flight returned from its third mission of 2026 when 50 veterans and 50 guardians flew from MLB to Washington for a day of honor; the community welcomed them with a preflight party featuring live music and food trucks.

The next flight is scheduled for Sept. 12.

At the Palm Bay Aquatic Center on June 25, families took part in the World's Largest Swimming Lesson where Westin Casey and his dad learned water safety skills.

Local agencies such as the Palm Bay Recreation Department + Palm Bay Fire Department partnered to teach kids to swim and practice CPR.

Homeowners can help protect the Indian River Lagoon by installing rain gardens that collect and filter runoff from roofs, driveways, and sidewalks + preserving groundwater and supporting local wildlife.
