  • ➤ On Monday, United Launch Alliance launched the second batch of Amazon’s Project Kuiper satellites from Cape Canaveral at 6:54 a.m. EDT, adding more satellites to a network designed to bring fast internet to remote areas—Amazon plans to begin beta testing the service by 2026.  Space Coast Daily

  • ➤ Former Brevard County clerk of courts Mitch Needelman was ruled competent to stand trial on charges of bribery, conspiracy, bid tampering and official misconduct—with a status hearing set for July 9 in Seminole County.  Space Coast Daily
  • ➤ Brevard County man Stephan Dieujuste, 24, is charged with second-degree murder for fatally shooting Nathanial Jennings, 19, on May 11 on Vernon Place in downtown Melbourne—police said video shows Dieujuste fired eight times as Jennings fled despite his claim of self-defense.  Space Coast Daily
