Here's your local news at a glance for Wednesday, the 10th of June.
Good morning, Palm Bay.
🌲 Environment
Palm Bay residents stay safe today as the Atlantic basin remains quiet thanks to strong wind shear, keeping tropical development at bay.
Tropical storms have formed in the eastern Pacific, and forecasters say conditions may turn wetter mid-June (if wind shear eases).
A 4.3 aftershock struck near Cuba today at 7:59 a.m. after a 6.1 quake on June 8 shook Florida with over 5,000 reports, and USGS has not received local reports of the latest quake (forecasts suggest more tremors in the coming week).
