SpaceX will conduct a doubleheader launch on Tuesday, June 10 as the crewed Axiom mission lifts off from Kennedy’s pad 39A at 8:22 a.m.—and a Starlink mission carrying satellites will launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station between 9:03 a.m. and 1:34 p.m. Local residents from Daytona to Palm Bay should note that weather and clouds may affect views.

Companies like The Spaceport Company and Seagate Space are planning to build offshore launchpads to meet rising rocket launch demand from Florida’s Space Coast (after record counts in past years).

They said the new platforms will ease land use and permit challenges (a key hurdle) and support DoD and commercial missions, with one project scheduled for sea trials within one year.
