- ➤ On May 27, SpaceX launched its ninth Starship test flight from Texas and reused a Super Heavy booster for the first time but the rocket broke apart over the Indian Ocean—failing to deploy its payload or land the booster. - ➤ At a meeting on May 20, the Brevard County Commission ended the North Brevard Economic Development Zone with a 3—2 vote and moved its funds to the county's general fund. Local leaders worry the change could hurt the space industry and cost over $50 million in incentives, and they plan to discuss next steps at an upcoming council meeting. FOX 35 Orlando
