- ➤ The Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast received $750,000 in Department of Defense funds and an additional $82,500 in matching state funds to start a Phase 2 Feasibility Study on aging wastewater systems at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Brevard County. Brevard County’s Utility Services Department will lead the study — it will check flow projections, set water quality goals, and determine treatment options to support military operations and protect the Indian River Lagoon.
