  • In Downtown Melbourne, Stephan Dieujuste, 24, was held without bond after fatally shooting 19-year-old Nathaniel Jennings on Mother's Day, May 11 — he claimed self-defense while police disputed his account.  Florida Today
  • At around 1:26 p.m. today in West Cocoa off Burnett Road, law enforcement responded to a chaotic shooting in which over 50 rounds were fired as subjects exchanged gunfire over an ongoing feud—one round struck a 2-year-old female baby who is in stable condition—while one shooter was detained and officers are searching for three others.  Space Coast Daily
  • Police say 30-year-old Carlos Gomez from Cocoa was charged with second-degree murder after fatally stabbing 56-year-old Andre Bishram with a screwdriver—he then beat him with a tire iron during a disturbance at Affordable Living Center on May 11, and he is held without bail with a court date set for June 5.  Florida Today
