  • Dr. Stephanie Haridopolos, a Brevard native and Chief of Staff to the U.S. Surgeon General, recently spoke at a national workshop in Washington D.C. addressing sudden, unexpected infant deaths (focusing on a just and compassionate response) with experts from law enforcement, clinical and public health fields.  Space Coast Daily

HEALTH NEWS

  • The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced nearly 150,000 Generac portable generators (sold at Home Depot and Lowe's) are recalled because fuel may leak during filling and cause a fire hazard. Owners should stop using the units and contact their dealer for a free repair.  Florida Today
