  • The BCSO and Charity Inc. will host the 2026 Brevard Law Ride on Saturday, May 9, with check-in at 8 a.m., a 10 a.m. briefing, and a 10:30 a.m. ride from the new Veterans Memorial Center Park in Merritt Island (vendors and raffles are planned) to honor fallen heroes.  Space Coast Daily
  • The Brevard Humane Society’s 14th Annual East Coast Dog Surfing Festival will be held at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach on Easter Sunday, April 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Families can enjoy dog competitions, surfing lessons and live music for a $5 donation (vaccination proof is required).  Space Coast Daily

  • Family Dollar now accepts SNAP/EBT payments for grocery delivery through DoorDash. Announced on March 31, the change expands access to essential food items (490 stores in Florida from nearly 7,000 eligible locations nationwide).  Florida Today
