  • A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched from Cape Canaveral on Thursday at 10:20 a.m. amid storm clouds that limited views, and the next launch is set for Sunday, March 22 (from Launch Complex 40).  Florida Today

  • Space Coast Bulls & Barrels will return to Space Coast Daily Park in Viera on May 15 and 16 with rodeo riding and barrel racing for fans of all ages. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and tickets cost $20 in advance, with free entry for children seven and under.  Space Coast Daily

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Endeavour Elementary in Cocoa staged '101 Dalmatians' on March 17 and 19 thanks to Disney's Stage Connect program (providing talent training and guidance from Disney Cruise Line staff), which aims to build sustainable theater programs in underserved schools.  Florida Today
