- ➤ Eastern Florida State College Theatre presents 'Into the Woods' at the Simpkins Fine Arts Center on the Cocoa Campus starting Friday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. Shows are Saturday at 2 and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.; tickets are $15 in advance and free for students (ID required). - ➤ Gas prices in Florida increased nearly 20 cents per gallon between March 2 and March 3, according to AAA — the average is now about $3.07. Experts expect prices to rise further as global tensions over the Strait of Hormuz limit supply, which may cause fluctuations at local pumps. Florida Today

- ➤ Sea turtle nesting season is active on Florida beaches. Residents are reminded it is illegal to touch or disturb sea turtles, their nests, or hatchlings; call a lifeguard or FWC if a turtle appears in distress (observe local signage and lighting rules) so these endangered creatures can hatch and migrate.
