- ➤ SpaceX is launching its next Falcon 9 rocket carrying Starlink satellites today from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral. The booster will attempt a landing on the Just Read the Instructions drone ship in the Atlantic — the launch will proceed with caution to avoid sonic booms. Florida Today
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ NASA delays its Artemis II rollback from Kennedy Space Center because cold weather & high winds limited Tuesday preparations; the rollback is now planned for Wednesday to address a helium flow issue, with the crewed moon mission rescheduled for an April launch window. FOX 35 Orlando
- ➤ The FAA approved SpaceX’s Starship launches at Kennedy Space Center, with measures in place to protect local wildlife (and reduce environmental impact) for future missions. Florida Today
- ➤ Florida law says that any leaves or debris falling from a neighbor's tree must be removed by the property owner + moving them to a neighbor's yard or into the street is illegal. Palm Bay residents may trim overhanging branches on their side of the property line if done properly. Florida Today

- ➤ The FHSAA Board (10-0) voted on Feb. 23 to adopt MaxPreps rankings for football playoff seeding as it prepares for the new Open Division next season. This change replaces the state’s old, confusing power ranking system. Florida Today
