- ➤ Rob Ghiotto, a Rockledge resident, urged FDEP to deny Blue Origin’s wastewater discharge license renewal unless conditions for 24/7 testing (ensuring zero heavy metals and forever chemicals) are met to protect the Indian River Lagoon. Florida Today
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The boil water notice for the Mims area, in effect since Feb. 19 after a main break on Indian River Parkway, was lifted after repairs and tests confirmed water safety (bacteriology cleared water). Residents on streets including Black Gum Drive and Burrowing Owl Drive now have safe tap water. Space Coast Daily
- ➤ FDOT is implementing overnight ramp closures on Pineda Causeway starting today through Thursday to pave the roadway, with the final ramp reopening Friday morning. Motorists are advised to use detours such as Wickham Road to access U.S. 1. Hometown News
