- ➤ Brevard County School district announced it will cut staffing by 7% for the next school year due to lower enrollment and reduced funding — non-teaching roles will be hit first as the district adjusts its budget. FOX 35 Orlando

- ➤ Florida is set to experience dangerously cold temperatures & strong winds from Saturday into early next week, with near freezing conditions in South Florida and brief snow flurries predicted in areas like Tampa. Weather alerts have been issued so residents should stay informed. Florida Today
